Yuna Cat Care is a free food, health-fit and pantry tracking app for cat households.

What we collect

Yuna may store your account email, display name, household name, cat profiles, diet needs, allergens, food records, check-ins, taste ratings, pantry items, reminders, support messages and basic app activity events.

Why we collect it

We use this information to sync your household, show food-fit guidance, keep pantry reminders, support family sharing, improve reliability, understand app engagement and help you recover your account.

Health and safety

Yuna is a planning and tracking tool, not veterinary advice. Always check important food, renal, allergy, prescription, appetite or symptom decisions with a qualified vet.

Family sharing

Household data is shared with people you invite to your Yuna household. Invited household members may see cats, food notes, check-ins, pantry reminders and saved AI questions for that household.

Service providers

We use Supabase to provide account, authentication, database and password reset services. If you ask Yuna an AI question, relevant household context may be sent to the AI provider so the assistant can answer.

Photos and scans

If you add cat or food photos, those images may be processed to support catalogue, scan and profile features. Avoid uploading private veterinary documents or sensitive records unless you are comfortable storing them in Yuna.

Notifications

If you enable notifications, Yuna can send pantry, stock and reminder alerts. You can turn notifications off in your device settings at any time.

Analytics

Yuna may record app activity such as screen views, scans, check-ins, food interactions, pantry actions and recommendation activity. These events help us improve the app and understand aggregate usage.

Your choices

You can request account help, password reset, data access or deletion through the support page. Deleting a shared household may affect records visible to other household members.

Children

Yuna is intended for cat owners and carers. It is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children.

Security

We use service-provider security controls, authenticated access and household-based permissions to protect account data. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

Changes

We may update this policy as Yuna changes. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new last-updated date.
